World Seed Congress 2012
Important Notification!
Please note that the dates of the ISF World Seed Congress 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil have changed. It will now take place on 26-28 June 2012.
A series of UN meetings are scheduled to take place in June 2012 and the Brazilian government expects around 50,000 participants. As a result the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations has asked ABRASEM and ISF to reschedule the ISF World Seed Congress.

The "mid registration" period is open till 14:00 GMT on 9 March 2012. Don’t miss the date and time!!
Brazil is a destination that appeals to all visitors both joy and hospitality of its people, as the diversity of attractions and sights. Its natural wealth can be found on the beautiful beaches of Rio de Janeiro and the northeast coast, at the Iguaçu Falls, the Pantanal or the Amazon. All these sites offer to the visitors a unique experience.
The Brazilian National Organizing Committee (ABRASEM - Brazilian Seed Association) and the ISF Secretariat invite you to the ISF World Seed Congress 2012 from 26 to 28 June 2012.
Who can register as a Delegate?
Participation in the ISF World Seed Congress is not open to everyone. You can register as a Delegate if you are:
- A representative of an ISF Member (Ordinary, Associate and Affiliate)
- An employee of a company that is a member of the national seed association in your country of residence. This national seed association must be an ISF Ordinary Member.
Delegates have access to the exhibit area, to the Trading Floor and the Opening Ceremony, to open meetings and social events (Welcome Party and Gala Dinner).
Online registration will open at 11:00 h GMT on 4 Jan 2012 and close on 10 May 2012 at 14:00 h GMT.
To save costs, time and protect the environment, ISF encourages all delegates to register online. Should you, nevertheless, wish to use a registration form on paper contact the ISF Secretariat at register.fax@worldseed.org.
Who can register as an Exhibitor?
Membership in ISF is not necessary to register as an Exhibitor. However, the National Organising Committee needs to approve all applications. The number of exhibit boothsis limited and allocation of space will be done on a first -come, first-served basis.
An Exhibitor has access only to the exhibit area and to the Opening Ceremony. No access is possible to the Trading Floor. Social events (Welcome Party and Gala Dinner) must be paid for.
